mObridge iPod and Bluetooth for your Mini
mObridge supports late model Mini equipped with the MOST® bus. Below you will find some Mini specific information on each mObridge product.
mObridge Audio
mObridge Audio seamlessly integrates an Apple iPod and auxiliary audio interface into your Mini. It allows you to browse the complete contents of your iPod, and control the operation of the auxiliary input.
Some advantages of the mObridge Audio for Mini:
- Speed of operation - browse your iPod faster,
- No need to change discs to change categories,
- mObridge supports all iPod categories - not just Playlists/Artists/Albums/Genre/All Songs.
- Extra auxiliary in.
- Ability to be retrofitted into your Mini.
- Unlock of your iPod for manual operation while connected to the vehicle.
- Subfolder browsing.
- Browsing display not limited by mObridge (limited to 250 by Mini head-units).
mObridge Bluetooth
mObridge Bluetooth is a complete media interface that integrates your Bluetooth portable phone into your Mini, as well as your iPod and auxiliary audio device.
Because we utilize Parrot technology, we are compatible with a wide range of popular Bluetooth phones - ensuring that your new phone has a great chance of working with our system (please refer to our phone compatibility guide).
As well as providing Bluetooth telephone functionality, mObridge Bluetooth also adds Bluetooth streaming audio control and complete iPod and auxiliary audio input control to your Mini compact-disc-changer controls.

Mini Audio
- All Minis are required to be "coded" - ie have the CD changer
enabled in the vehicle. This requires some knowledge and access to
either the dealer diagnostic tools or an aftermarket Mini coding
solution such as Autologic. mObridge can
only supply limited support in the area of coding Minis, and will not
refund if the mObridge unit cannot be fitted due to an inability to
code the vehicle.
For further information on the coding of BMWs please refer to the Autologic web site. - CD Changer Retention not supported.
- Post-2008 vehicles are not supported at this time.
